Alden "The Kid" Chodash with Manny Pacquiao

Wow. Who is this amazing young man? Alden Chodash bills himself as "the No. 1 pound-for-pound boxing expert," a description that, believe it or not, might be an understatement. When it comes to boxing analysis, "The Kid" can bang with the heavyweights of the industry -- Teddy Atlas, Al Bernstein, Max Kellerman, Emanual Steward, Steve Farhood ... add your own personal favorite to this list. A high school freshman from Boca Raton, Fla., Chodash is a top-flight amateur boxer (scroll to the bottom of this page to see him in action) and a competitive runner (time: 17:23 in the 5,000 meters in November) -- but it says here that his future is in front of a camera and behind a microphone at the world's biggest boxing events. His observations are deep, original, completely spontaneous and delivered seamlessly every week into a videocam -- usually from what appears to be his living room sofa (often with the family dogs growling, birds chirping & phones ringing in the background) -- on his weekly Internet boxing show. His predictions are usually spot-on, even when he goes against popular opinion -- something he's never afraid to do. He clearly loves the sport, and frames his criticisms with diplomacy, but also is fearless when it comes to calling it the way he sees it.

If you'd like to learn something about boxing -- and you're humble enough to allow yourself to be educated by somebody barely into his teenage years -- check out Alden's boxing shows, many of which we've posted below. And please show plenty of love to to this young man's humble and understated website at www.aldenboxing.com.

If Alden "The Kid" Chodash never becomes a world-champion boxer or an Olympic runner (and don't count him out), we can expect to see him on a major boxing broadcast -- HBO, Showtime, ESPN2 or elsewhere -- sometime in the not-too-distant future. If "The Kid," isn't a legend already, he will be soon. Click on any of the videos below and prepare to be amazed.
