Francisco Figueroa (born June 13, 1978) is a professional boxer from his hometown in Bronx, NY, USA.

Figueroa, whose nickname is "El Gato", He has been featured numerous times on ESPN2 and many HBO fights. In August 17, 2005 he defeated Hector Alejandro, Jr for the New York State Title.He also had a powerhouse bout @ Madison Square Garden against another undefeated contender Joey RIos who he beat.

As of oct 26 2007, his record is 21-2 with 16 KOs in 23 bouts.

He defeated Ubaldo Hernandez and won the NABF world title, which is his third


He also beat high ranked and undefeated opponent Francesco Gallardo @ madison Square Garden oct 26

on November 16 ElGato made his second title defense against Hard hitting, powerhouse Noel Rodriguez, Figueroa won and retained his world title.

El gato is currently ranked #7 in the world and commands three world titles.He has also linked up with amazing trainer Buddy Mcgirt and the team look to build on his already accomplished career.
