The boxing world lost a good man last night. Ex-fighter Ray Marconi informs that Boxing Hall of Fame icon Chuck Bodak passed away last night at the hospital in Orange County. Recently inducted to the WBC Legends of Boxing Museum, Bodak was known for his bright personality and was an ambassador to the sport having worked with over 50 world champions and world renowned fighters such as Rocky Marciano, Muhammad Ali, and Oscar De La Hoya to name a few. Boxing fans adored Chuck throughout the years and most notably when he started wearing pictures on his head when he walked in the ring with his fighters, the first being Jorge Páez. “Boxing will miss a great man and may we all remember him as a man who stood by his word and gave his life to boxing,” said WBC representative Rudy Tellez. Born in 1916 in the city of Gear Indiana, Chuck Bodak will be missed. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
