Marco Antonio Barrera (63-5, 42 KOs)

vs. Manny Pacquiao (44-3-2, 34 KOs)

Oct. 6, 2007, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nev.

The first time they met, in 2003, Pacquiao won a sensational battle, finally stopping Barrera in the 11th round of a non-title fight at 126 pounds. The rematch, four years later, took place at 130 pounds. Barrera had just seen his six-fight winning streak end via a rough, 12-round battle with Juan Manuel Marquez -- his lone defeat since facing PacMan the first time around. Since his victory over Barrera, the only bump in the road for Pacquiao had been a 12-round, unanimous-decision loss to Erik Morales in Manny's first 130-pound fight. But he had avenged that defeat twice, knocking out Morales both times amid what now was a five-fight victory skein.
